About INEUWF

Where nature heals, communities flourish — and where communities are included, nature is protected."

INEUWF Trust was founded in 2022 with a mission to bridge environmental restoration and social inclusion through structured CSR partnerships. Operating at the intersection of ecological science and community development, the Trust has established a model that is both replicable and deeply rooted in local context.

Our work spans the rapidly urbanising districts of the NCR — Gurugram and Faridabad in Haryana, and Gautam Budh Nagar in Uttar Pradesh — as well as rural Haryana, UP, Rajasthan and Punjab where afforestation and water conservation are critical lifelines.

Every project is co-designed with local communities, ensuring lasting ownership. We work with Corporates, Government bodies and Grassroots Organisations to mobilise resources and deploy nature-based and technology-driven solutions.

  • Government alignment with state schemes

  • Community participation at every stage

Our Projects

Pond Cleaning & Restoration — Haryana, UP, Rajasthan and Punjab

Systematic cleaning, de-silting and ecological restoration of rural and urban ponds across various states. The project removes pollutants & encroachments, reintroduces aquatic vegetation, enforces more tree and plant cover, providing a Green Lung to the local community. Restored ponds recharge groundwater and support local flora and fauna.

Establishing Miyawaki Forests— Uttar Pradesh and Haryana

Establishing Miyawaki forest - a dense, fast-growing, and biodiverse native forest created using a technique developed by Japanese botanist Dr. Akira Miyawaki. By planting 3–5 native saplings per square meter, these "pocket forests" grow 10 times faster, are 30 times denser, and become self-sustaining in just 2–3 years.

Large-scale planting of native tree species across degraded lands in Uttar Pradesh & Haryana, creating green corridors and carbon sinks. The programme partners with Village Panchayats, District Magistrate and the State Forest Department to select appropriate plant species and ensure long-term survival through community ownership.

Inclusivity Education in Villages

Village-level programmes in Faridabad, Gautam Budh Nagar, and Gurugram districts building awareness on gender equality, disability rights, child protection, and social inclusion. Trained facilitators conduct workshops in local schools, gram sabhas, and women's self-help groups, building an inclusive civic fabric.

Digital Johads — Smart Village Ponds, Alwar (Rajasthan)

A pioneering initiative to restore traditional johads (village ponds) in Alwar district with digital monitoring — IoT water-level sensors, mobile dashboards, and community data stewardship. Combining ancestral water wisdom with 21st-century tools for resilient rural water security.

Urbanisation and green development focus on transforming cities into sustainable, eco-friendly habitats by balancing population growth with ecological preservation. We work with ULBs, Schools and Universities in furthering their knowledge about green development under the ambit of UNSDGs.
